After that, scoop 2-3 tablespoons of salt into the bong, followed by half a cup of rubbing alcohol. Cover all holes and gently shake the alcohol and salt mixture around, allowing the abrasive mixture to touch all sides of the glass. Let it sit for a few minutes to soak, and then run hot water through for a final rinse. If any residue is left, use the Q-Tips to clean the select areas that need the extra attention.
Follow the same process for the slide and bowl to clean them as well. Be sure all alcohol is rinsed from each piece before using.
2. DENTURE TABLETS
What you need:
Any brand of denture tablets
Ziploc Bags
Water Source

First, place the slide and bowl in separate Ziploc bags. Next, drop 1-3 denture tablets, depending on size, in the bong and fill with hot water. Allow the fizzing process to take place within the bong for about 15-30 minutes. The time will vary depending on how dirty the bong was to start. Also, add one denture tablet to each Ziploc bag in order to clean the slide and bowl. For whatever areas remain a bit resinous, use a pipe cleaner to wipe out the leftover build-up. Finally, rinse all the pieces with hot water and dry before using the bong.
3. FORMULA 420

A bottle of Formula 420

As a product made for this task, 420 cleaner is a fast alternative to the other cleaning methods. It may be a bit pricier than simple rubbing alcohol, but it gets the job done efficiently.
